Description
The White Diamond Morgan Dollar Coin Ring, also known as “The Gambler’s Ring”, is a true classic. It’s simple but bold so it makes it one of the most sought after coin rings around. It features a 2.50mm brilliant round white diamond so this coin ring sets the standard for men’s rings.
I love making the White Diamond Morgan Dollar Coin Ring because I know the customer is going to love it too. I get emails from customers weekly telling me how much they love their ring because they get so many compliments on it.
The Morgan Dollar was made from 1878 to 1904 and then again in 1921. The coin’s designer was George T. Morgan so that’s where it got it’s name. The obverse (heads) side of the Morgan Dollar Coin Ring shows a profile portrait representing Lady Liberty and the reverse (tails) has an eagle with wings outstretched making it a classic coin ring.
A woman named Anna Williams was used for the face of the coin but she was not an actor. Morgan said, “Miss Williams’ profile was the most nearly perfect he had seen in England or America.” Since she was not a model she agreed to the job on the condition that her identity would remain secret so he was promised anonymity. She did not stay anonymous for long because her secret was out and she received numerous offers for acting jobs and public appearances but she declined.
